Transportation 

The Education Department oversees student transportation for those who reside on-reserve and attend Aamjiwnaang Kinoomaage Gamig and our schools of choice.  

 Aamjiwnaang School Bus 

  • Transports students who reside in the community to and from Aamjiwnaang Kinoomaage Gamig. 

Elementary & Secondary Transportation 

  • Is a service that Aamjiwnaang contracts out to a local bus company, our provider is currently Langs Bus Lines Limited.  
  • 2024 – 2025 Bus Information (new post to come) 

Students who reside in Aamjiwnaang must register with the Education Services Assistant, Chenoa Plain at chenoaplain@aamjiwnaang.ca

Wheels to School 

  • This shuttle provides transportation service to students who have been approved for additional support/accommodations, attend an immersion program outside of our designated schools and/or attend our Adult Continuing Education program.

Wheels to College 

  • This is a schedule-based shuttle for students attending Lambton College, School Within A College (SWAC).  
  • 2024 – 2025 Schedule (subject to change at any time)

Sarnia Lambton Alerts – St. Clair River Spill

Aamjiwnaang Members, Please see the below notification. The spill has no impact on Aamjiwnaang First Nation drinking water. During this time, the community may notice boats, booms and emergency response vehicles responding. Shell Manufacturing Centre in Corunna is also assisting in the emergency response.
