Overview

Boozhoo!  Welcome to the Aamjiwnaang Education Department.

Our department is responsible for administering education programs and services for Aamjiwnaang Early Years, K-12, Adult Learning, and Post-Secondary Education. We manage the education funding provided by the federal government and work closely with the Education Committee to oversee the department policies and implementation of the Anishinaabek Education System (AES).

Aamjiwnaang Education works closely with the Kinoomaadziwin Education Body (KEB) to identify and manage educational priorities of the Regional Education Council #4.

Our Mission

To provide educational programs and services that foster lifelong learning that is informed by culturally relevant Anishinaabe knowledge to ensure present and future student success.
