Health FundÂ
Financial assistance for medically necessary items that are not covered by any other funding source. Must be prescribed and provided by a recognized health care provider. Examples include rehabilitative services, annual physician fees, emergency travel to support immediate family member during high risk hospital stay, and uncovered portions of dental/orthodontics, vision/glasses, prescription medications, lab tests, medical equipment. Out of country emergency medical costs are not eligible. Private or semi-private hospital rooms are not eligible. Items/services that are covered by other programs (eg. Non-Insured Health Benefits, private insurance, ODSP, etc.) will be redirected to those programs for coverage. Funded by the Band with a limit of $500/year.
Counseling Fund
Funding to cover the cost of counseling sessions with a recognized provider, that are not covered by Non-Insured Health Benefits or other benefit plans. Contact the Mental Wellness Coordinator for an intake.

Seniors Home Accessibility Fund (link to policy & form – attached)
Funding to assist seniors living on-reserve with minor home modifications needed to address or prevent health and safety issues in the home. Examples include stair lifts, ramps, accessible bath/shower. Requires Application Form verified by a health care professional. Limit one-time $6,000 per home.
