Organizational Structure

The Aamjiwnaang First Nation is governed by a Chief and nine Councillors who are elected every two years.  There are eight standing committees appointed by Council.  They include:  Education, Development, Housing, Community Services, Health, Employment Works, Community Safety Committee, and Environment. Each of the committees works with one of one of the Program Coordinators.

The First Nations operations are managed by the Director of Operations and seven Managers who report to the Director. The Managers consist of Community Services, Child & Family Services, Development, Education, Finance, Health, Human Resources.
