January 19, 2021 – Update

Several events are held throughout the year such as:

Aamjiwnaang Environment Presents InterConnectedness to the Environment – November 12, 2015

Earth Day – April 21, 2018

Envirofest – Envirofest was held on July 15th.  It consisted of several information booths in the afternoon followed by a Community Potluck in the evening.

Reptiles at risk workshop – showing the many species that are important to the area and why they need our help in protecting them. The workshop informed the children and community of their importance in nature and why we need them.

Sarnia Lambton Alerts – St. Clair River Spill

Aamjiwnaang Members, Please see the below notification. The spill has no impact on Aamjiwnaang First Nation drinking water. During this time, the community may notice boats, booms and emergency response vehicles responding. Shell Manufacturing Centre in Corunna is also assisting in the emergency response.
