Grand Bend Wind Farm

On Thursday, October 6, 2016, Chief Joanne Rogers and Members of Council along with Chief and Council from Walpole Island First Nation attended the Grand Bend Wind Farm tour and grand opening.  They toured the switching station, O&M Building, Radar Station, Main Substation and Turbine #19.   Following the tour there was a Traditional Ceremony by Animikeence Plain & Company held at the Oakwood Resort.
